Our Story

What started as a family purchasing a pair of Pygmy wethers as pets turned into Kat Slash as you see it today.

Kat Slash Farm was established in 2016 and was created for a 4-H/FFA project that would focus on goats and breeding dogs. It currently is operated and maintained by a 4-H/FFA member.

We selected Nigerian Dwarf goats because of their small size and unique colors. While we started small, we are concentrated on creating friendly, show-quality animals. We decided on Border Collies because of their ability to herd and obedience. Our lines have remarkable dogs behind them and these dogs would make excellent herders, pets, or even search and rescue dogs.
